This year, we’re playing for real: games, toys, and all things kawaii!

We are thrilled to reveal the official image for the 2025 edition—a pop-style bunny created by artist Yumi Karasumaru. The festival’s theme will revolve around play and toys, evoking childhood not only as a life stage but also as an inner world that stays with us into adulthood—a space where fantasy and imagination, as well as fears and nightmares, can grow and transform.

Accompanied by the message “Keep Smiling“, Yumi Karasumaru’s artwork becomes a symbol of joy and a wish for peace, embodying the spirit of this 25th edition.
