The jury consisting of El Pais journalist Rocio Ayuso, active member of the HFPA and member of the production team of the Golden Globes, Emiliano Fasano, journalist, General Secretary of ASIFA Italia and Lorenzo Balbi, director of MAMbo, awards the winners of the 22nd edition of the Future Film Festival. The Bper Green Future Prize is awarded by Davide Daniza Celli.
The bond between the Future Film Festival and Venice strengthens: the prestigious venue of the historic seventeenth-century palace Donà dalle Rose at the Fondamenta Nuove, home of the homonymous Foundation, will host the project created by Théo Garnot (The.Ogarno), a brilliant French artist, known for his “infinite drawings”.
Future Pitch 2022: call for entries is now open

Until 8 September, there’s still time to take part in the Future Pitch 2022’s open call, organised by the Future Film Festival in collaboration with Doc Servizi and Flash Future.
During the part of the festival that takes place in Modena, the 30 September will be dedicated to the Future Pitch. After the success of last year’s edition, the event will return this time in presence, offering an opportunity for dialogue and interaction between those working in the world of cinema.
12 hours, 100 participants divided into teams, a theme revealed only on the day of the competition. These are the first ingredients of the Future Videogames Hackathon, a competition between game developers to be held on 1 October 2022 at Laboratorio Aperto in Modena, during the Future Film Festival.
On Wednesday 20 July, the Future Film Festival’s “Splash Edition – Draw the future” moves to “Frida nel Parco” ” (Parco della Montagnola), for a new event open to all those who want to draw freely, interpreting the 2022 Future Film Festival’s main topic: the so-called retro-future.
Before the 22nd edition the collateral events of the Future Film Festival continue. In collaboration with Studio Croma and ARCI Ferrara, the Festival proudly presents “Future Film Kids – Stop Motion Lab”, a cycle of four thematic workshops for children aged 6 to 14, inside the Arena Coop Alleanza 3.0 – Parco Pareschi (FE), Corso della Giovecca 148.
As we are waiting for its 22nd edition to start, the Future Film Festival is bringing its audience to Retrofuturo-like scenes outside cinema halls. On Sunday 3 July from 5 pm, the festival will play a major part in the event “Atelier Kinotto – Wake Me Art“, an open-air gallery organized by Taldeg, Locomotiv Club and Kinotto Bar, inside the Parco del DopoLavoroFerroviario in Bologna.
