A young war refugee, Rumi must find a new home. His search intersects in time and space with the story of another child living during the war. Lamya, a modern-day Syrian child, is fleeing her country's humanitarian catastrophe. While Lamya's harrowing journey continues, she feels a growing connection to Rumi's book of poems.
